Fox is a homebred boy, staying here forever! Fox has perfect DNA (click here to review it) & is an exemplary Collie-boy. Loving, kind, intuitive & concerned. He loves giving big Collie hugs & is about as gorgeous as it gets. I love his perfect eyes with their correct size & proper spacing. His back skull is fab, his big bottom is in perfect, sacred geometric convergence with the breadth of his shoulder blades. His pigment is deepest black. As if this weren't enough, he sired Foxglove Farms Z (out of Bleu Camas) who is as brilliant as can be. What do YOU think of Fokky?

Marie is available! Her testing is here! She has upright ears, whereas Mamie has tipped ears. Mamie is moving to MT next month. Did you notice that I removed Marie from my sales opportunities recently? Im not particularly hypersensitive, but when I receive an enquiry from a completely rude person, sometimes I just have to pull the plug & chill. If a person started out with me arguing about raw food, telling me that she'll only feed Marie raw food with her vet's approval, I'm going to decline further interaction. I don't want a problem relationship. Nor do I want my dogs eating crappy food that the vets push and sell. Science Diet, Purina, Royal Canin. Then, there are the ultra-personal questions...not only do I want what's best for my dogs, I want what's best for myself, (secondarily). Jerks don't work for me. I expect basic human decency. Woo! Thank you. Polite folks only. Here we have Foxglove Farms Sandpiper (he is moving to Billings MT on Saturday); Foxglove Farms Forgetmenot (she is moving to Helena, MT on Dec. 15) & Foxglove Farms Bleu Camas (click here to see Bleu's testing) This is why we feed lots of raw meat. Particularly, green tripe. Please do watch this entire doc & enjoy Dr. Becker DVM. If you're concerned about your dog's inflammatory reaction to foodstuffs, I recommend Dr. Jean Dodd's Nutriscan...it is an at-home performed saliva test that will inform you of your dog's allergies. Sandy is moving to The Last Best Place. Oregon birthed William Kittredge & imbued within him that love of tall grasses, open fields, vistas, trees, birds, horses...in short, majesty. I'd like to think that I have almost everything he ever wrote. I trust him when he claims Montana as his heart place. My sweet sidekick is a terror in the paddock! Darling, darling, sweet, naught, naughty, naughty, sassy, adorable Mini (Mint Julep) departed today with Brook Moore Transport (AKC Malinois Breeder of Merit) for Minnesota. Oh, my did the tears fly! Is there a cuter little monkey to be found? I'm so thank you to Ms. A & her daughters for providing Mini with the balanced, supportive, active home that she deserves! Raw feeding is so important (whether one does it completely or as a facet of...)! Thank you A. for continuing this diet! I'm ultra-thrilled that Mini serendipitously ended up 40 minutes from where her sire moved to a few weeks ago! Play dates ahead!!! Bleu and MiniMini, Mamie, Paloma and Vinca really LOVED this Tiny Desk concert. I loved it even more than they did. The finest genetics in the world! And an even finer spirit. Despite the heatwave, these boys managed to disturb the hens, find a tantalizing chunk of wood & run, run, run! Sandy is available to discerning folk who desire excellence! Click here to peruse his perfect testing! Why I block certain inquiries: a view from the other side of the coin. I recently had occasion to block an enquirer from the Good Dog platform. It seems I erred & blocked a potential great home, though one never knows. In this day and age of fraud, scams & various and sundry undermining. I do my very best to police my platform, I place 5% of my Collies through Good Dog's applicants (according to the weekly performance insights I'm provided by Good Dog). And I cull out loads of inquiries per day. The absolute LAST thing I desire for my dogs, is for them to be purchased by a broker and sent to an auction, a high-end pet store and/or worse. I look for an alchemy. Certain questions which are asked in a certain way, response and reply times etc..etc...these things (and more) often compel me to simply block a potential buyer. If it takes someone days to respond to me after they've made an inquiry, I'm going to deem that very person unlikely to respond to my dog's needs. Right? Check out these dog auction links. Know that auctions are happening as I write this. Dog auction link... Another dog auction link... A few other Collie-folk that I've bounced this issue off of have stated that my job is "to sell the merchandise". Fortunately, this is not a job for me, it pays in the negative and my average time-allotment in placing an entire litter exceeds one year! I'm a total failure! Thank goodness! I've produced a lifetime total of 4 Collie litters & my next litter is planned for 2026. My pups are born in my home and are a part of my life to the nth degree. Older dogs whom I purchased as breeding prospects are no less important to me. I need to be assured that I'm placing my dogs in like-minded, holistic, entire, mature, responsible homes with the fiscal capability of handling a veterinary emergency etc..& the physical energy and wherewithal to handle exercising a Collie. I would be shattered to find a dog of mine living in a crate in a garage. Or being auctioned, pet-stored or anything else. I have a great gut instinct & I'm going to honor her. If I err. I also have a great lawyer. The videos below show Wiggi and Paloma & Mini-Me and Z |
