I'd like to address our screening policy. By our declining to place a puppy in a particular home/circumstance we're not judging the home/people/family. We're determining what works best for our puppies. Our priorities have been made very clear within our site content & we will continue to exist under their dominion.

Baths are happening! Each puppy will soon have their own page! Tomorrow, Embark tests on these charmers go out! We've also begun the laborious task of officially listing the puppies with their sales pics on "Good Dog" & AKC Marketplace...I elected to offer my Big Girl & am instead keeping little Vinca...

Today, the walls came down! The puppies have moved into the main kitchen area! Here they'll have great visual stimuli & their world will expand significantly...

How could I forget to photograph the boxes of BJ's Raw & Idahound? Easily! So sorry!

This morning, the lads & lassies are enjoying Evangers Chicken (classic recipe) formula & Canine Caviar Goat...thats 2 proteins, 1 omnivoric...the other herbivoric. In the next week, I will introduce a novel protein (kangaroo).

We have some raw food deliveries scheduled for today! I'll photograph them as I unpack so that you can review the packaging. See you soon!

Delphinia (girl) wears a blue collar & Vinca (girl), a purple collar. First baths, first collaring....what a day! Delphinia is available!

White Nose (boy) wears a red collar while Captain (boy, now called "Caleb" by his new family)) wears a yellow collar...

Well! It looks like the puppies have determined that the alien-craft are friendly! As mentioned in the film, we start our puppies out on the very neutral, very reliable Diamond Naturals Puppy Chicken/Rice...the idea now is to get them integrated to the solid (ish) food & also towards self-hydration i.e...."I'm thirsty....now, what do I do about it?!"...(head to the water bowl!). They're accustomed to receiving all nutrients from one source.

Goat milk is still here by the gallon & our nightly feedings occur during divergent hours! Usually, between midnight & 2 AM...& 4-6 AM.

As soon as the pack of 11 absolutely mob us when we commence to drop down the UFOs, we will very gingerly add one raw protein at a time.......slowly (as in 1 TBS per puppy per day of lamb for 7-10 days) building the system up carefully & artfully, removing Diamond & replacing with Canine Caviar. Timeframe: 10 days...of course, we work for the puppies, they'll let us know!

Frustratingly, we've had to take our business away from BJ's Raw Pet Food & move over to the following: Raw Feeding Miami (extremely easy ordering platform with the fish/duck & beef eyeball options that we love, love, love). They also offer cool things like raw, tripe-stuffed quail & whole prey (feathered &/or furred) (whole or ground). We're bidding farewell to Farmina & returning to Canine Caviar lab/millet...(they have elements associated with some of their products that I'm not comfy with, such as their dried treats sourced from India), but the lamb/millet dry food, we love. We procure ours from Petflow...Petflow donates a portion of every purchase to pet rescues...
