They lasted less than 20 minutes! They are now napping in the kitchen... We love acclimating the puppies to normalcy...today, they're receiving their 2nd or 3rd baths. We are infatuated with Quadruped tearless shampoo & have used it forever in the grooming shop...we've also shown you deets on some of our equipe. On to other news: The pups have departed their whelping box & have upgraded to a livestock trough placed in the middle of our kitchen. Life is noisy, delightful & exhausting...(as the puppies awaken at 10 PM & 4 AM) (at least)...demanding a bedding change & fresh food & water. We believe this makes a nearly potty-trained puppy happen...& crate-training is EZ PEE-Z...(& POO-Z)... Still no results from Embark. I should have simply gone with Pawprint..., they had our results back in days (even the DMS)!  Fill the sink 1/2 full with warm water, add some shampoo...agitate...add puppy...gently lather...rinse, rinse & then rinse again...  #1 All Systems all-boar bristle brush...great for backbrushing puppies...& grand for Collie faces & sensitive zones...& then we have "Prob" modeling his bravery under the stand-dryer...I've also shown 2 clippers that we use here...the Wahl Arco's are used on feet & in between footpads...the puppies are quite accustomed to the feeling of the Wahl Arco on their adorable little pads... Aptly named "The Bee's Knees" but called "Jacinta" by her friends & fam...she really has it all! A delightful & charming puppy, Jacinta was examined by Dr. Behrenfeld on 11/08 & is perfection. Jacinta's health testing is pending with Embark...however, we do know that she will be MDR1 & DM clear by parentage. We love her freckles as well as her excessive use of eye-liner... She sells with full AKC registration. $6000.00
  Photos taken 11/09! All puppies will be neutered at our expense prior to their departures in mid-late December...blue merle boys are $2,000.00 & sable boys are $1500.00. As with all of our puppies, this fantastic litter has their individual Embark testing in place as well as their PRA Rod Cone Dysplasia 2 testing in place through Pawprint genetics. REFUNDABLE deposits are $500.00. We will issue refunds on deposits through 11/28...thereafter, the deposits are non-refundable.
Sooo big & mellow...he looks just like his gorgeous dad....PRA test results are in my previous bulk-results post...MDR1, CEA, DM still pending.... $1500.00 neutered at our expense before he leaves...   |
