Wow...what an onslaught of high strangeness. I've been worried for months about the canine respiratory epidemic which has a firm grip on Oregon's dogs, I've posted articles & suggested whole sequestration of dogs. As the science evolves, we know that a) this disease is non-responsive to antibiotics....b) occurs suddenly & intensely...c) lasts for months.....d) has a high mortality rate...e) is $15,000-20,000 to treat when it takes hold. I'll say it again: keep your dogs isolated...do not compromise. ALL ground transport is now off the table (for us)...we are locking down & maintaining a tight biosphere. We'll deliver to the 1-5 corridor (Lebanon) utilising our Sprinter van with it's Gunner crate & our system of the kiddie pool filled with shavings as our in-van (safe) puppy restroom (photos feature in other posts in the blog) to folks who acquire a puppy from us if they have a similar lock-down mindset in place & want to meet at the A&W there. Thank you for your patience. |
