Sardines...I love them! Though mine are spiced & immersed in a secret family recipe of yummy Portuguese tomato sauce. The Anatolians & Collies enjoy significantly larger sardines, thawed & fed raw 3-4 times per week. We procure ours from BJ's Raw Pet Food. It's akin to feeding seals...all of the dogs rear up on their haunches & put their little paws together & make an exceptional amount of noise. Sardines are a stupendous foodstuff for building coat while pups go through their rather intense growth, teething & mental development phases...

Hello friends! This daily photo shtik will be weekly until Bleu's litter is born! We are really needing to focus on our puppies (almost 4 months now!!!) & prepping our house for winter. We hope you like our progress!

Del has always been the most elegant & ladylike child of the litter. For weeks, she played the role of princess. Who knew that she would lead the pack & rule as supreme vocalist, ever-alert...(& when nothing's going on to yap at...ever-imaginative) with her cohort, Moon. I suppose she could not have languished forever on her throne...my girl went from luncheons at the country club, to roller derby queen overnight. She pretended that she knew all about leash work on her day 1 of training.

2 days off morphed into 7...as they do...! Here is Trill, gangly, gawky & as angled as a mantis! How do you like our hardy fuchsias? I enjoy the light shining through the flowers in the morning & evenings, both. Last night, I listened to Copland conducting his own stellar Appalachian Spring...(see below)...while watching the fuchsias light up like Chihuly glasswork...

Darling Vinca could not believe that our cord had yet to be cut! How cute is she? She is a dog who resides at the very core of my being...what we receive from dogs is that very intangible gift that's been bequeathed to man & woman since time began...dogs make us whole. They compel a majestic love & vulnerability from we mere humans...
