A Buck swims across the bay & new pics of Jack!

It's amazing, the things we see on the Yaquina Bay...(& in it)...I wondered, as I sat sipping my coffee this morning & watching this guy at low-tide, who/what spooked him...or is he just a swimmy guy (like the Collie pups!)?

 He was nervy & offended at my observation...he leapt into the water, briefly embodying the brilliant White Stag logo...(in silhouette)...& then, returned to his marshland. Knee-deep in quicksand on the other side & tarying briefly at some greenery...

What say you of Jack In The Pulpit? I find his head & structure astonishing! Gorgeous! His less-flashy brother "OMG" claimed me though...& we cannot keep them all...or can we?

This week: perhaps the roof will begin being slapped on...I don't know...all of the stars, moods & biorhythms seem to need to be perfectly aligned before anyone can do anything...but, alas.

This week, I plant the 7 hardy fuchsias that arrive from Dancing Oaks Nursery in Monmouth! Yayyyy. And then, we await the testing from Vinca & Fox...(DMS & PRA2)...leash work has begun & shall continue with the puppies...& mostly, I'll merely be abating the effects of the heat dome....
