When we purchased this home last winter, I had to laugh...where most would say: "Wow...a 100-year-old breakfast nook! How cool!"...I said:"Wow...a breakfast nook /whelping area! Perfectamundo!"... I'm sure there have been lots of dreamy things served up in this gorgeous old kitchen, after all, a century of meals have been enjoyed here....but, no one would argue my saying that this is the finest recipe to adorn this grand kitchen. I can't thank Laura Van Embden enough for entrusting me with Van-M Taffy Apple.
