Leash-work commences!

Tackle: Herm Sprenger Stainless Steel Choke Chain; Mendota convertible leather leash...

There are those who object to the use of the unfortunately named "choke chain"...I love them...as mouthy, chewing breeds are immediately deterred from chewing leashes & any other attachment (which is an awful habit...& a dangerous one as well)...as you can see, this is very low impact & I let the puppy sort it out. In essence, the puppy leash trains me.

Keeping these sessions very, very short (2 minutes or less)...& positive is key...the excursion should be visually stimulating & not at all high-stress or cacophonous.

It will be a pup-a-day everyday for 8 days!
