Merry & Pippin depart for CA

This morning, we setup our van for safe transport to the OR border! There, Merry (Meriadoc) & Pippin (Peregrin) will meet their new family & continue south to Woodland, CA.
We have loved every moment of the puppies. Never have I a met a more gracious boy than Pippin...& the confidence & kindness that Merry emanates is huge.

This is how one stabilizes the Gunner crate....the ex-pen & pool set-up is for the puppies to use as their toilet en-route. This way, their patooties never touch the ground....
